Soul Calibur is an American animated action martial arts comedy television series made by the Nickelodeon fans. It is produced by Cookie Jar Group (formely DIC Entertainment) and aired on High School Boyz on Nick on October 4, 1999. This show is set in the year 1591-1608 and it is about the holy sword named Soul Calibur.

  • Li Long - A Chinese assassin who wields a nunchaku and fights with Matchless Dragon. He is voiced by Bill Hader.
  • Maxi - A wandering pirate in Okinawa, Japan who wields a nunchaku and fights with Shissen Karihadi. He is Kunie's wife. He is voiced by Steve Van Wormer.
  • Mitsurugi - A Japanese samurai who wields a katana. He is voiced by Ed Cunningham.
  • Nightmare - The main antagonist of the series, the living incarnation of Soul Edge. The original Nightmare used Siegfried as a host, but was eventually destroyed by the knight. Now a new Nightmare has risen. He is voiced by Toshiyuki Endo.
  • Olcadan - A decent warrior who fights in many different styles. He is voiced by Tom Hanks.
  • Raphael - A French nobleman who wields a rapier. He is voiced by Charles Klausmeyer.
  • Seong Mi-Na - A young Korean woman who wields a halberd. She is voiced by Erika Lenhart.
  • Setsuka - An orphan and runaway living in Japan, she was shunned due to her Caucasian ancestry. She wields a iaito sword hidden in an umbrella. She is voiced by Claire Hamilton (Season 1-3) and Tara Platt (Season 4-present)
  • Siegfried - The former protagonist of the series. He once wielded Soul Calibur against Nightmare in an attempt to atone for his sins when he was the host of Soul Edge. It was revealed that he defeated and destroyed the Azure Knight in the end of Soulcalibur IV. After 17 years, Siegfried has reformed the Schwarzwind into a band of mercenaries. He wields a zweihander sword. He is voiced by Roger Craig Smith.
  • Sophitia - A Greek goddess who wields a sword and shield. She is the older sister to Cassandra. She is voiced by Alice Cheung.
  • Taki - A ninja who brought Soul Edge. She wields a dual kodachi. She is voiced by Cynthia Holloway.
  • Xianghua - A Chinese swordswoman who wields a jian with graceful moves. She is voiced by Wendee Lee.
  • Yun-seong - A young Korean man who wields a dao. He is voiced by Michael Reisz.
